Tanalised® wood from the Lotus Long Life product group is used extensively. Due to its excellent rot resistance, Lotus Long Life pressure-treated wood is suitable for demanding conditions. The use of Lotus Long Life pressure-treated wood is recommended if the wooden structure is constantly exposed to weather stress or if the structure is difficult to repair. Please note that pressure-treated wood should not be used indoors in residential buildings.
Wood is a natural product; it has knots, holes, and it reacts to changes in moisture. The lifespan of a Tanalised® wood is up to 30 years, depending of the maintenance.
